My invention relates to bed clothes fasteners and means for securing such a device in place. It has for its purposes, to provide a device easily attachable to the frame of the spring or the bed upon which the clothes are to be held; to provide a device of minimum parts, simple and inexpensive construction, easily attachable and detachable, and affording protection to the clothes when fastened by means of the free moving pivotal disc G. a
I accomplish the objects of my invention as shown in the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification and in which Figure 1 shows a top View of my device attached to the frame of a bed of which a section is shown. Figure 2 shows -a perspective view of the same. Figure 3 is a perspective View showing the bed clothes secured in position by my device.
Referring again to the drawings A shows the main body portion of my device. B shows that portion of the body portion which fits on the inner side of the bed or spring frame C. D shows the thumbscrew by which the device is secured to the frame. E shows the extension arm, projecting from the body portion B, and carrying the thumbscrew F on the thread end of which is pivotally mounted the disc G adaptable to engage and hold when tightened the bed clothes H against the frame '0.
Throughout the detail description and onnot limit myself to the above disclosure except in so far as is necessary in construing the following claim.
Having thus described my invention I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States of America A bed clothes fastener comprising a body portion shaped to engage the frame of a bed or spring, a thumbscrew for engaging said frame, said body portion being. provided with an outwardly extending arm portion, a thumbscrew mounted at the outer end of said arm portion, and a disc pivotally mounted on the thread end of last said thumbscrew adaptable when. tightened to press against and hold bed clothes against-said frame.
