Be it known that llanny Srnrunxs, a citizen of the United States, residing at Los Angeles, in the county of Los-Angeles 5 and State 01 California, has iniented certain new and useful lmprovementsin Toy Blocks, of which the following 1s a specification.

the objectoi which is to proride a collapsible member within the block, which may be distended into the 'sen'iblance of a toyswin on the single 1irotso as to enclose these members in the housing, or these members may be extended so as to form head and leg sections, which may be painted or otlua wise decorated to represent the head and legs of a person or an mal.

, Referring more particularly to the drawin g. the housing 1 is fonincd in the senihlanoe of a channel having side walls il and 3, and a front wall 4, the rear, top and bottom bcirg left'open. It will be noted that the two members 5 and (3 when folded in the'housing are back to back as shown infull lines in Figure 3 having been swiveled on the pin 8, which is adjacentthe back of the member The front wall at as will be noted in Figure 5 is decorated to represent a. body and the member 6, the head. and the member 5, preferably will be decorated to represent the legs. v

W hile I have shown the preferred form of my invention, it may also be embodied in other forms, and it is undeistood that the construction thereof may be varied within the scope of the claims---:--' 1 l'arin'g described n13 invention, 1 claim: 1. A. toy block comprising in combination a housing having front and side walls and being open at the baekfl'andtop and bottom,
