Referring in this connection to Figs. 1 to 7 inclusive, the ears 16 receive the pin l2 so that as the actuator 14 is swung over between the limits of action, the 'end walls of said slots 17 will engage the pin 12 to thus limit the motion of said actuator 14. It should be noted that as the actuator 14 is swung` from the position it is shown as occupying in Fig. 7, the walls of the slot 17, act against the pin 12, to thus set the clamping member 9.
What I claim is:
1. A buckle comprising' a body member, a clamping` member pivotally supported for rocking movement by the body member, and
an actuator for the clamping member,- pivotl ally connected therewith and provided with ears through which the pivot of the clamping member loosely extends.
2. A buckle comprising a body member, a cam clamping member pivotally supported for rocking movement by the body memi ber, and an actuator for the clamping member pivotally connected therewith and provided with ears having openings through which the pivot of the clamping member looself extends the actuator also havin@ njuans for the connection therewith of a be t.
3. A buckle comprising a body member, a cam clamping member pivotally supported for rocking movement by the body member, and an actuator for the clamping member pivotally connected therewith and provided with ears having openings through which the pivot of the clamping;- member extends for rocking` movement, the actuator also having means for the connection ltherewith of a elt.
