Description
R. M. KLIEMANT.
GAME. APPLICATION FILED MAY 2. I919. I 1,325,201. Patented Dec.16,1919.
ROBERT M. KLIEMANT, OF BALTIMORE, MARYLAND.
GAME.
Specification of Letters Patent.
' Patented Dec.16, 1919.
Application filed May 2, 1919. Serial No. 294,212.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ROBERT M. KLIEMANT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Baltimore, in the State of lVIaryland, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Games, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to improvements in games, and has for its object to provide a simple, cheap and eflicient game for amusement of young and old.
The invention consists of the novel o0nstruction and arrangement of the parts hereinafter more fully set forth in the following specification and pointed out in detail in the appended claims.
In the accompanying drawing,
Figure 1 is a front elevation of my invention.
Fig. 2 is a vertical section of Fig. 1 on the line 33.
Fig. 3 is a detail view of the rod on which the movable figure is mounted.
Referring to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification, and in which like reference numerals designate like parts throughout the several views, thereof 1 designates a base having vertical end pieces 2 at each end and a vertical back 3. Each of said end pieces 2 is provided with an aperture 4 and one is provided with the word No and the other with the word Yes. The rod 5 is provided with a loop 6 at each end and projects through the apertures 4 in said end pieces and has mounted thereon a movable figure 7 WVhen operating the game the rod 5 is held at each end by the loops 6 with the lower end of the figure 7 just touching the base 1 and the vibration of the rod 5 caused by the nervousness of the hand results in causing the figure 7 to be moved up and down against the base 1 which results in the saidfigure 7 moving along said rod 5 toward the word Yes or No presumably in answer to a question asked by the operator of the game.
While I have shown and described the movable figure 7 mounted on a rod, the said figure may be operated on a; cord held taut.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is:
1. A game comprising a base having two end pieces each provided with an aperture, a rod projecting through said aperture, a
figure movably mounted on said rod between said end pieces.
2. A game comprising a base, two upright end pieces each provided with an aperture therein, a rod projecting through said apertures and having a loop at each end, and a movable figure mounted on said rod between said end pieces. p
In testimony whereof I afiix my signature.
