This invention relates to a pool game in which a real ball and air blowers are used.

Among the objects of my invention is to provide a blow pool game adapted to be played at home on a table, or in any convenient place on a level surface. My game is realistic in that an actual ball is used, with air blowers usable by the players to direct the ball to the pockets of other players and away from their own respective pockets. My game has ball deflecting members properly positioned to deflect balls hit against them, and to increase the element of sur prise. My game contemplates such other objects, advantages and capabilities aswill later more fully appear and which are inherently possessed by my invention.

While I have shown in the accompanying drawing a preferred form of my invention, yet I wish it understood that the same is susceptible of modification and change without departing from the spirit of my invention.

Referring to the drawing, Fig. 1 is a plan view of a preferred embodiment of my game; Fig. 2 is a sectional view on line 22 of Fig. 1; Fig. 3 is an enlarged detail sectional view of the triangular corner block and pocket closed with thecover in place, and Fig. 4 is a detailed elevational view of the air blow gun.

The embodiment selected to illustrate my invention comprises a substantially rectangular frame adapted to receive the marginal edges of a board Resting on the board II and attached to the inner corners of the frame ID are four triangular-shaped blocks |2. A circular member I3 has its lower edge resting on said board II and is attached to the frame I0 by means of screws |4 passing through spaced wedge-shaped blocks I5.

The board I has four spaced cut-out portions IS, the bottoms of which are covered by cloth or other suitable material attached to board H to form'pockets Each of the pockets I1 is placed in front of a triangular block I2 and between two of the wedge-shaped blocks I5. Substantially half-way between the center of board II and pockets four bafiles l8 are attached to the board The baiiles I8 form the corners of a rectangle, and one of the bafiles is positioned in front of and spaced from a corresponding pocket H. In the center of the board is a starting of holder 22. The shank 2| is adapted to rotate in opening 20. The holder 22 has an inwardly bent portion 23 and then a loop 24 above shank 2|. There are four holders 22, one for each of the triangular blocks |2.

Four air blow guns 25 are provided, one for each of the holders 22. Each of the blow guns 25 consists of a compressible hollow rubber bulb 26 into which fits the inner end of a barrel 21. To the outer end of the barrel 2'! is attached a nozzle 28. When the bulb 2B is compressed by the hand of a player, air is forced out through barrel 21 and nozzle 28. The nozzle 28 'of the blow gun 25 is placed through loop 24 of holder 22 with the outer end of barrel 2'! resting against the loop 24. The loop 24 is larger than the nozzle 28 and permits movement of the nozzle with respect thereto. Each of the four players takes a position at one of the triangular blocks l2 and has his air blow gun 25 in position in holder 22. At a given signal, such as the calling of the word play, or the like, the players aim the nozzle 28 of their respective blow guns 25 at the ball 3|, and compress the bulbs 26 to direct blasts of air to move the ball. The objects of the game are for a player to drive the ball 3| into any of the pockets I! of the other players and to prevent the ball from entering his own pocket which is located in front of his triangular block l2. Clever manipulation of the air blow gun is essential to victory as the aiming of the gun and thedirecting of the jets of air is within the control of each player. The game is not unilateral because there is contest between the conflicting puffs of air from the competing blow guns. In addition the baffles l8 and the wedge-shaped blocks |5 deflect the ball when struck and create elements of surprise and uncertainty which the successful player must be competent to overcome.

If the ball 3| drops into one of the pockets ll of one of the players all of the other players score a point on their dials 29 with indicators 30. The player to score ten points first is the winner.

A variation is for the player in whose pocket I! the ball 3| was driven to score a point against himself and at the end of ten points to lose or be eliminated.

The game is primarily designed for four persons, but two or more may play. In this situation covers 32 may be placed over the pockets i! not used.

Having thus described my invention, I claim:

A blow pool game comprising a rectangular board, a rectangular frame adapted to receive the marginal edges of said board, four triangular shaped blocks resting on and attached to said board, one of said triangular shaped blocks filling each of the inner corners of said frame, a circular member resting on said board and contacting the centers of the inner edges of said triangular shaped blocks, said'circular member also contacting central portions of said frame on each side thereof, four wedge shaped members with their fiat rear surfaces contacting the said circular member, fastening members extending through said wedge shaped members, said circular member and into said frame, said board having four pockets, one of said pockets positioned in front of the center of the inner portion of each of said triangular shaped blocks, four blow guns, one of said blow guns pivotally mounted in the central front portion of each of said triangular shaped blocks, a starting spot in the center of said board and four upstanding bafiles, one of said baffles positioned between said starting spot and each of said pockets, said wedge shaped members each positioned half way be-
