STOVEPIPE-HOLDER.

Application filed To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, An'rn'on linemen, a citizen of the United States, residing at Kankakee, in the county of Kankakee and State of lllinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Stovepipe- Holders; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.

This invention relates to a stove pipe holder, and its object is to provide a device which may be readily attached to a section of stove pipe entering the stove hole of a chimney, with means for retaining said device in position with reference to the brick work, whereby the pipe section is held permanently in position, and therefore retained. against accidental displacement.

With the foregoing and other objects in view, the invention consists in the novel construction, combination, and arrangement of elements hereinafter described and claimed.

it will therefore be apparent that the pipe is permanently retained and cannot be accidentally displaced, and that therefore there can be no interference with the proper draft, due to the cause indicated. The device is inexpensive and can be made for use with pipe of any size.

What I claim is:

A holder for securing a stove pipe in the opening of a brick chimney comprising an arcuate member adapted to engage the stove pipe and have its ends secured thereto, an outwardly projecting flange on said member and following the curvature thereof, an arm on said flange intermediate the latters end and adapted to bear against the chimney, and a prong on the end of said arm an adapted to be driven between the bricks of the chimney.
