IMPROVEMENT IN CASTER-STANDS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent N0. 134,738, dated J annary 14, 1873.
1V atnre and Objects of the Invention.
My invention relates to casters or holders for bottles; and the invention consists in a novel construction and combination of parts,
which have for their object to make a cheap, durable, beautiful, and ornamental article of manufacture in twisted wire.
Description of the Drawing.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a threehole caster or stand. Fig. 2 is a perspective View of a three-hole stand. Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a four-hole stand. Fig. 4 is a perspective view of a four-hole stand, the bottle-holders being square.
General Description.
These stands are made up from twisted wire, and consist of a frame, A B, mounted upon legs 0, and having bottle-rings a combined with a rest or seat, I), for the end of the bottle, and
provided with a handle to lift and move the same. Theparts are secured together by clinchjoints or metal clasps c, and, when complete,
the whole is immersed in metallic bath and goated with tin, silver, &c., as may be desirale. i
The construction of these stands will be readily understood from an inspection of the drawmg.
In the drawing I have shown four difl'erentshaped stands, and these shapes or styles can be enlarged to take any desired number or shape of bottles by additions and duplications of the necessary parts.
Claim.
I claim- As a new article of manufacture, a stand for holding bottles made of twisted wire, the said stand having a series of holders, a, anda supporting'ring or rest, I), for the bottle, substantially in themanner described and specified.
