of Massachusetts, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Gun Firing Mechanisms, of which the following is specification.

When the rack 19 is reciprocated the turret 25 will be oscillated through the medium of the sleeve 21 and the pinion20 meshing with Said rack 19. The bottom plate 24 has secured thereto the upwardly extending parallel flanges 27 connected at one end by cross plate 28 are the handles 29 of two revolvers 30 horizontally positioned with their trigger guards 31 abutting each other. Thebarrels 32 of these revolvers are supported in a cross member 33 and each barrel has secured thereto by means of the screw 34 a supplemental barrel 35 extending through a port 36 in the front-of the turret 25. These supplemental barrels 35 are formed in the shape of heavy guns such as are ordinarily used in the turret of a battle-ship. A similar supplemental barrel 37 corresponding in shape to the barrels35 is positioned between the barrels 35 and exthe cross plate 28. Superimposed upon'the tends through a port 38 inthe turret 25 and is secured by means of the screw 39 to a sup port 40 interposed between the parallel flanges 27. Each revolver is provided with the usual cylinder 41, hammer 42 and trigoperates in the usual manner. combination of a fixed cylinder; a support mounted thereon provided with a tubular hub centrally positioned in said cylinder;
means coacting with said hub adapted to oscillate it; a fixed shaft extending through said hub; a crank secured to the upper end of said shaft; a member slidable on said support provided with a projection; a link between said crank and slidable member; a trigger operating member on said support in the path of said projection; and a firearm secured to said support and provided with a. trigger and a hammer.
