The Schedule referred to in these Lettera Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, JAMES M. Kuur, of New York city, in the county of New York, `and in the State of- 4NewYork, have invented a certain new and useful Holder or Case for Mucilage; and do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact descripsolid or semi-solid cement or` mucilage in suc-ha man` ner as that, while in a convenient form for use, it may be readily carried in a pocket;Y and to this end,

It consists in the employment of a caseor holder constructed Vsubstantially Y, as hereinafter shown and combined, with a stick of adhesivecomposition, for the purpose specified. i

ln the annexed drawing- A represents a metal tube or case, having att-ached loosely to one of its ends a cap, B, to the center of "which is secured one end of a rod, C, that-from thence extends longitudinally through thecenter of the open! ing within said case, and is provided with' a male screw-` thread. As thus `constructed, the cap B, and with it theserew C, may he rotated upon and within the case` 4by means ofthe thumb and finger.

A rib, a, extending longitudinally along the interior of the case A, and fitting into a corresponding groove, c, within the cylinder of adhesive composition, holds which corresponds said cylinder and case in the' same relative positions radially, without in the least obstructing the longitudinal lmovement of the former within the latter.

`If desired, a female screw-thread may be provided upon the interior` of the case A, and the stick or cylinder 1), having a corresponding male screw-thread upon its periphery, may be caused to revolve therein by means of-a square rod, 0,1itting into a corresponding opening within said cylinder, but as such an arrangement would be only a modification of .my hereinbefore described device, it is not deemed necessary to illustrate the same in the drawing.

Having thus fully set forth the nature and merits 0f my invention,

What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters latent, is
