To all whom it may c0ncern.
Be itknown that I, Ronnn'r O. HAMMOND, a citizen of the United States, resident of Amityville, in the county of Sufiolk and State of New, York, have made a certain new and useful) Invention in Egg-Carriers; and I declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains'to make and use the invention reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters or figures of reference marked thereon,
which form a part of this specification.

The invention has relation to boxes .or
carriers designed mainly for use in the transmission of eggs through the mail, and it consists in the novel construction and combina'tions of parts, as hereinafter set forth.
In the accompanying drawings illustrating the invention, the numeral designates a box, consisting of an outer slldable cover 2,0pen at both ends, and an inner part 3, comprising a bottom 4, upturned ends 5, and inward turned top flaps 6, extending toward each other. Fitting within this box are suitable egg containers such as a plurality of cylinderjtubes 7. .A rectangular open top and open bottom frame 10 is placed around the egg containers or tubes to in= close the same, said frame being located within the outer lateral edges 11 of the top p flaps and bottom of the inner part 3.
In assembling the parts, the innerpart 3 is placed upon a table or other support, the rectangular frame 10 is placed upon the part 3, the top flaps and ends of which are I claim and desire-to secure by Letters Pat- A paper boxcomprising an open-end outer cover part, an inner open-top and openbottom rectangular frame, and an intermediate part having a bottom, upturned ends and inturned separate top flaps, each be sent top flap being attached to one .of said ends,
