Such construction` avoids the necessity of ash doors 'or ash receiving space, the circulation of the gases. in combustion following the same course as that provided for in the use of solid yfuel. .In the construction above described, the entire interior of the boiler is filled with circulating water. ` It will be observed from the constructions shown and described that the entire boiler installation is of metal and is self-contained within the surrounding hollow circulating walls, in combination with the circulating tubes, headers, bridge wall, etc.

1. In a boiler of the'class combination of a supporting described, the
base, hollowv cast side and end walls having hollow nipple connections, inclined water circulation tubes connecting thehollow front and bac walls, water. connections :tor the frontend back walls, a plurality of hollow cast'xnetal headers arranged in alinement with the tially as set forth. '2.' In a boiler of the class described, the
