It may also be used fora card-table, or any other desirable revolving table, whenever necessary to be so used.

In the drawing- A represents the table, of any desirable dimension, the centervB of which is'the revolving part, and raised vits thickness above the surrounding table A.

A suitable frame-work, C, and legs, I), support the table A, which may be extended to any size by having suitable segments, E, shown in dotted line, fig.'

Upon this shaft c we arrange the wheel c, having a collar, e', into which the forked lever K, fig. 1, fits, for throwing the wheel-c' iu and out of gear with the large wheel f, fastened to B, and made, by-'preference, in segments.

-On the shaft c we also arrange a spool, g, around which the cord h, gr2, is wound.

To regulate the speed of the center part B. a suit-y able brake may be attached, a spring, nl, is shown -in fig. 1, and under said center B maybe arranged ifriction-rollers, o, fig. 2, if desired. The table A may be round, or any number of squares desired. y

Gearing can be arranged so as to run pas long as necessary, by winding once, when used with a spring.
