Abstract
A method for predicting fracture healing comprises clinical examination, radiography, detection of genetic polymorphism of MTHFR C677T and measurement of IL-6, CICP concentration. The fracture healing may be predicted if heterozygous carrier status of 677-CT is revealed and the level of IL-6 is 3.3-8.8 ng/l, and that of CICP is 102-108 ng/ml.
