Abstract

Винахід стосується пігментних частинок діоксиду титану з поліпшеною світлостійкістю, поверхня яких є вкритою легованою принаймні одним легуючим елементом SiO2-оболонкою причому завдяки легуванню принаймні одним легуючим елементом значення густини енергетичного рівня у валентній зоні та/або у зоні провідності поблизу від забороненої енергетичної зони знижуються, або утворюються додаткові енергетичні рівні у забороненій енергетичній зоні, а леговану густу SiO2-оболонку наносять на поверхню частинок діоксиду титану відомими вологими хімічними способами або у газовій фазі, причому особливо придатними легуючими елементами є Sn, Sb, In, Ge, Y, Nb, F, Mn, Cu, Mo, Cd, Cc, W та Ві.
