A method of prediction of fracture nonunion includes clinical examination, radiography, determination in blood serum of the levels of homocysteine and TFR-β1. Fracture nonunion is predicted in case of the levels of homocysteine > 20 micromole/l and TFR-β1<14 ng/ml.
