Abstract
A process for the transformation of magnetic properties of feebly magnetic oxidized iron ores and iron ore wastes for magnetic separation comprises grinding of raw material to size less than 0.1 mm with further treatment with aqueous solutions of salts and bases and heating with microwave electromagnetic fields. The treatment is carried out by solution of salt of bivalent iron and heating is carried out by electromagnetic waves of centimeter range.
