Abstract
A process for magnet removal of feebly magnetic oxidized iron ores and iron ore wastes for magnetic separation using reducing sources of raw material comprises grinding of raw material to size less than 0.1 mm with further mixing with reducing agent and heating. As reducing agent natural hydrocarbon is used, particularly starch, and heating is carried out at temperature of 300-600 °C for 15 minutes to achievement of constant magnetization intensity of base product.
