Abstract

A process for synthesis of thallium selenogallate comprises the placing of elementary components to ampoule of quartz glass, vacuuming and ampoule welding, heating of components and cooling. Components are placed in one end of horizontally adjusted ampoule, which is placed to working zone of a furnace, and another end of ampoule is placed outside of working zone of the furnace, ampoule content is heated to temperature of 270-290 °C, held at this temperature for 4-6 hours and after that heated to temperature of 700-750 °C, the ampoule is introduced to working zone of the furnace with velocity of 3-4 cm/h, the temperature of working zone of the furnace is raised to temperature of 830-850 °C and held at this temperature for 2-3 hours.
