Abstract
The invention relates to the steel production. A method involves charging of charge materials and fluxes, cast iron pouring, top bath lancing with oxygen, after which metal is blown out with the rare gas with specific consumption of 0.5-1.4 m3/t and intensity of 1.5-4.7 thousand m3/hour, deepening lances under its level at 50-500 mm. At the last stage of oxygen lancing, equal to 0.05-0.25 of its general duration, rare gas is added to the oxygen at the ratio of 1.0:(0.10-9.0).
