Abstract

The invention relates to refractory industry, namely to the methods of refractory production containing carbon, which are used for the fettling of high- temperature units, preferably, converters, electric fusing furnaces and units for out-furnace steel processing. The method for manufacturing of periclase-carbon refractory is implemented by mixing of periclase-containing material of the fraction of 3 – 1 mm with liquid filling agent, then with periclase-containing material of the fraction of 1 – 0 mm and carbon component, introducing of fine-dispersed antioxidant-containing component into obtained mixture, and the final mixing of all components. .
