Abstract
A method for steel production in the open-hearth furnace, mainly from chemistry cool and low-temperature smelts, comprises the blowing of bath with oxygen, addition of heat-charring, finishing and deoxidation of metal. For increasing quality of steel by raising of metal temperature during the period of finishing melting ferrosilicon granulated slag and aluminsilicon slag are introduced into the bath, then the content of carbon in metal is corrected by afterteeming of cast iron.
