Abstract

Description
本發明係關於一種自支撐的熱固性黏著膜。特定而言,該黏著膜包括表面去活化的固態異氰酸酯及兩種具有可與異氰酸酯反應之官能基的不同聚胺基甲酸酯。
在一態樣中,本發明描述一種自支撐的熱固性黏著膜,其包括表面去活化的固態異氰酸酯、可與異氰酸酯反應之第一聚胺基甲酸酯、及不同於第一聚胺基甲酸酯之第二聚胺基甲酸酯。第二聚胺基甲酸酯係具有10至30之酸值、及不大於約50,000克/莫耳之單峰重量平均分子量(Mw)的羧酸官能聚胺基甲酸酯。
在一具體例中,第一聚胺基甲酸酯具有不小於約50,000克/莫耳之重量平均分子量(Mw)。
在一具體例中,自支撐的熱固性黏著膜係衍生自包括表面去活化的固態異氰酸酯、具有可與異氰酸酯反應之官能基的第一聚胺基甲酸酯、及不同於第一聚胺基甲酸酯之第二聚胺基甲酸酯的水性組成物。第二聚胺基甲酸酯係具有10至30之酸值、及不大於約50,000克/莫耳之單峰重量平均分子量(Mw)的羧酸官能聚胺
基甲酸酯。
在另一態樣中,本發明描述一種製造具有第一基材及第二基材之物件之方法。該方法包括使第一基材與前述自支撐的熱固性黏著膜中任一者的第一主表面接觸,使第二基材與該膜之第二主表面接觸,以致該膜的第二主表面與第二基材直接接觸而形成該物件,及對該物件施加熱及壓力。
在又另一態樣中,本發明描述一種製造具有第一基材及第二基材之物件之方法。該方法包括使第一基材與前述自支撐的熱固性黏著膜中任一者的第一主表面接觸,在將該膜施加至第一基材之前或之後向該膜施加溫度不超過55℃之熱,使第二基材與該膜之第二主表面接觸,以致該膜的第二主表面與第二基材直接接觸而形成該物件,及對該物件施加熱及壓力。
在又另一態樣中,本發明描述一種物件,其包括前述自支撐的熱固性黏著膜中任一者、及與該自支撐的熱固性黏著膜之第一主表面直接接觸的第一基材。
在一具體例中,該物件進一步包括第二基材,其與該自支撐的熱固性黏著膜之第二主表面直接接觸。
在又另一態樣中,本發明描述一種物件,其包括第一基材、第二基材、及安置於該兩基材之間之前述自支撐的熱固性黏著膜中任一者。
本發明描述一種適用於與單一基材形成結合或用於透過黏著膜使至少兩基材彼此結合之自支撐的熱固性黏著膜。
術語「自支撐的黏著膜」意指在不存在任何基材時維
持其完整性的黏著膜。在本發明之情況中,「釋離襯墊」不被視作基材。

根據本文描述之經固化180°剝離強度試驗方法,自支撐的熱固性黏著膜呈現至少30%、至少50%、至少60%之相對於對照物(可購自HB Full(St.Paul,MN)之EM9002-100)的180°剝離強度增加。

自支撐的熱固性黏著膜可使用各種施覆技術形成,包括噴塗(例如,螺旋及濺射噴塗)、塗布(例如,輥塗、狹縫式塗佈、凹槽輥塗布、簾塗、及圖案塗布)、及其組合。一種有用的施覆方法包括將水性組成物以期望的塗布重量輥塗於釋離襯墊上,然後使經塗布的水性組成物通過乾燥隧道以形成經乾燥的熱固性黏著膜。隧道中之乾燥溫度可係任何適宜溫度或系列溫度,但較佳維持在足夠低以防止使表面去活化的固態異氰酸酯被活化(即交聯)的溫度下。在乾燥期間,較佳將熱固性黏著膜維持在不高於約70℃、不高於約60℃、或甚至不高於約55℃之溫度下。視需要可將熱固性

使用連接至Waters 2414折射率(RI)偵測器之Waters 2695分離模組,使0.05體積莫耳濃度(M)之溴化鋰二甲基甲醯胺(LiBr/DMF)移動相流動通過兩個Agilent Resipore GPC管柱來獲得各聚胺基甲酸酯樣品的凝膠滲透層析(GPC)分子量分佈曲線。重量平均分子量(Mw)數據係相對聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯標準品來計算。
經乾燥的熱固性黏著膜之峰值熔融溫度及熔化焓(△H)係使用Perkin Elmer,Pyris 1示差掃描量熱儀(DSC),以10℃/分鐘之加熱速率,在移除熱史後測定。
酸值係根據ASTM D 4662,標題「聚胺基甲酸酯原料的標準試驗方法:多元醇之酸值及鹼度值的測定」來測定,僅除了使用異丙醇來替代乙醇。

將一組六個樣品之平均剝離強度的平均值以牛頓/25毫米(N/25mm)之單位記錄。

根據文中所述的酸值及分子量試驗方法測試各市售聚胺基甲酸酯分散液的酸值及重量平均分子量。結果記述於下表1。
對照物、比較例1-3及實施例1-3中之自支撐的熱固性黏著膜各係衍生自如表2中所述的水性組成物。黏著膜之厚度為100微米+/-10微米。
根據陳述於經固化180度剝離強度試驗方法中的樣品製備方法使用實施例1-3及比較例1-3之各黏著膜製備試樣。然後根據文中描述的各種試驗方法測試試樣。結果亦記述於表2。

Claims (10)
- 一種自支撐的熱固性黏著膜,包括:第一主表面,第二主表面,表面去活化的固態異氰酸酯,具有可與異氰酸酯反應之官能基的第一聚胺基甲酸酯,及第二聚胺基甲酸酯,其基於該第一聚胺基甲酸酯與該第二聚胺基甲酸酯之重量係為10重量%至60重量%,該第二聚胺基甲酸酯係不同於該第一聚胺基甲酸酯,該第二聚胺基甲酸酯係具有10至30之酸值、及不大於50,000克/莫耳之單峰重量平均分子量(Mw)的羧酸官能聚胺基甲酸酯,其中當根據經固化180度剝離強度試驗方法測試時,該黏著膜相對於購自HB Fuller(St.Paul,Minnesota)之對照物EM9002-100呈現至少30%之180度剝離強度增加。

- 一種包含自支撐的熱固性黏著膜之物件,包括:自支撐的熱固性黏著膜,其包括:第一主表面,第二主表面,表面去活化的固態異氰酸酯,具有可與異氰酸酯反應之官能基的第一聚胺基甲酸酯,及第二聚胺基甲酸酯,其基於該第一聚胺基甲酸酯與該第二聚胺基甲酸酯之重量係為10重量%至60重量%,該第二聚胺基甲酸酯係不同於該第一聚胺基甲酸酯,該第二聚胺基甲酸酯係具有10至30之酸值、及不大於50,000克/莫耳之單峰重量平均分子量(Mw)的羧酸官能聚胺基甲酸酯,其中當根據經固化180度剝離強度試驗方法測試時,該黏著膜相對於購自HB Fuller(St.Paul,Minnesota)之對照物EM9002-100呈現至少30%之180度剝離強度增加;及與該黏著膜之該第一主表面直接接觸的第一基材。
- 如請求項7之包含自支撐的熱固性黏著膜之物件,其中,該第一基材係金屬基材或非金屬基材。
- 一種製造具有第一基材及第二基材之物件之方法,該方法包括:使第一基材與請求項1之自支撐的熱固性黏著膜的第一主表面接觸,向該膜施加溫度不超過55℃之熱, 使該第二基材與該自支撐的熱固性黏著膜之第二主表面接觸,以致該第二主表面與該第二基材直接接觸而形成該物件,及對該物件施加熱及壓力。
- 如請求項9之方法,其中,該第一及該第二基材中之一者係金屬基材。
