Abstract

A method for treating off-gas from sintering and pellet plants, in which dry additive is added to the off-gas from sintering or pellet plant upstream of a fabric filter (3), in particular in an off-gas channel (2), and the additive is the separated from the off-gas by the fabric filter (3), is described. The method is characterized in that the additive contains sodium bicarbonate NaHCO3 as a reagent and is recirculated at least partly into the off-gas stream, in particular into the off-gas channel (2), upstream of the fabric filter (3). As a result, gas conditioning (cooling), as is necessary for lime-containing reagent, can be avoided.
