Abstract

Stabil kauçuklanmis bitüm konsantreleri, ilk olarak dogal olarak ufak kauçuk ile sisen, agirlik olarak kütlenin en az yaklasik %15'i kadar miktarda bitüm ve ufak kauçuk parçalarini ve kauçuk parçaciklari aginin ayirmak üzere, kütleye kesme ve isi kosullarinin tatbik edilmesini ve dijeste edilen vulkanize edilmis (=kükürtle serlestirilmis) kismi (=vulkanizati) bitüme dahil etmeyi kapsayan bir kütlenin meydana getirilmesi yolu ile hazirlanilir. Stabilize kauçuklanmis bitüm konsantresi, konsantrenin hem 48 saat süre ile yaklasik olarak 320 F'da saklanmasini takiben hem de ASTM çözünürlük testindeki daha düsük bir konsantrasyona seyretilmesinin ardindan kauçuk parcaciklarinin çökmesine karsi stabildir.
