Известен способ подготовки цинксодержаHUIX материалов к пирометаллургическому переделу , включающий смешение исходного магериала со св зующим, увлажнение шихты, окатывание и сушку. С целью исключени разубоживани окатышей по цинку и сокраш,ение расходов в качестве св зующего используют шламовую фракцию окисленной цинковой руды. По предложенному способу оборотный материал из бункеров пылевых камер вельцпечей смсншвают, например, на лопастном смесителе со шламовой фракцией окисленной цинковой руды, получаемой на обогатительной фабрике нутем выделени и обезвоживани нервичных и вторичных шламов.
