Abstract
This invention relates to medicine, specifically to laboratory microbiology and immunology. The goal is to improve the accuracy of the method. The goal is achieved by mixing a peripheral blood sample with sodium citrate in a ratio of 1:10. Next, plasma and blood cells are separated. Plasma is used to detect antibodies and antigens. Blood samples are used for seeding in serological studies. The method allows to increase the accuracy of the determination of the type of bacteria, as well as significantly reduce the blood sample necessary for conducting research.
Description
Изобретение относитс к медицине, в частности микробиологии и иммунологии, и может быть использовано в диагностике заболеваний , протекающих с влени ми бактериемии .The invention relates to medicine, in particular microbiology and immunology, and can be used in the diagnosis of diseases occurring with bacteremia.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of the method.
The method is carried out as follows.
Blood from peripheral veins is mixed with sodium citrate solution to a final concentration of 4-5%. Then plasma and blood cells are separated. A portion of the plasma is used to identify specific antibodies and antigen. Part of the red blood cells is used to determine resistance to hemolysins, the remaining material is for bacteriological studies. At the same time, it is incubated in a thermostat at 37 ° C or seeded onto ordinary bacteriological media.
П р и м е р. Оставшуюс часть материала использовали дл выделени гемокультур возбудител .PRI me R. In order to diagnose typhoid-paratyphoid diseases, 10 ml of venous blood is taken from an examined patient in compliance with the rules of asepsis. It is then placed in vials (20-30 ml), sealed with a rubber stopper with an aluminum cap, the blood is mixed 1:10 with 40% sodium citrate in sterile conditions. The resulting final blood concentration is 4-5%. The vial is then shaken and allowed to stand. Also under sterile conditions, plasma is taken from the vial, which is used to identify specific antibodies. 0.3-0.5 ml of plasma are sown on nutrient media in order to further isolate cup-gep. Red blood cells are used to study their hemolysin resistance. The remainder of the material was used to isolate the hemocultures of the pathogen.
