Abstract
FIELD: carbon-graphite material production technology. SUBSTANCE: device has successively positioned and interconnected oxidized graphite feeding unit, tank for mixing oxidized graphite with heated gas, cylindrical chamber housing tubular heater provided with concentric isolating pipe, vacuum chamber, and cellular graphite accumulator. Ratio of inner diameter of heater and inner diameter of vacuum chamber is 1 to 10-20 and on bottom and top face surfaces of cylindrical chamber between its wall and heater there are pipes for feeding cooling gas and for withdrawal of heated gas accordingly. Density of cellular graphite in bulk produced with the aid of the device is 0.3-0.5 kg/m, i. e. 4-6 times a less a prototype.
