Изобретение относитс к трибологии. Целью изобретени вл етс повышение точности определени износа прессового инструмента с упрочн ющим покрытием за счет дискретизации регистрируемого параметра. В покрытии на разной глубине располагают химические элементы, отличные от содержащихс в покрытии. Инструмент изнашивают и с помощью эмиссионного спектрального микроанализа поверхности контртела регистрируют спектральные линии элементов, вход щих в состав покрыти . Износ инструмента определ ют по по влению в спектре линий элементов, расположенных в покрытии элементов.This invention relates to tribology.
