(54). METHOD FOR PROCESSING IRON-CONTAINING WASTE
(57) The invention relates to hydrometallurgy and can be used to extract iron and non-ferrous metals from industrial waste. The purpose of the invention is to simplify and intensify the process. Iron-containing wastes are burned together with ammonium sulfate at 250–400 ° C for 1-2 hours, the burned mass is concentrated with a 1-3% solution of sulfuric acid, iron is precipitated in the form of hydroxide with ammonia, and the working solution is evaporated to remove 60-70% of the water and return to roasting. 2 tab.

The invention relates to hydrometallurgy and can be used to extract iron and non-ferrous metals from industrial waste.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify and intensify the process.
The invention is illustrated by the following examples.
Iron waste is burned in the presence of ammonium sulfate, then the burned mass is leached with a solution of sulfuric acid,
The burned mass is leached with 3% sulfuric acid solution at 70 ° C and a ratio for 1 hour.
1 .The results of the experiments are given in table. 1.
4%,Sulfuric acid solutions with concentrations of 0.5, 1.3, and 4% were tested for leaching of the calcined powder from 400 ° C for 1 hour,
Обожженна масса выщелачиваетс при 70°С в течение I ч при соотноте- НИИ , соотношение огарок/ /( 504 1: 1,4,The burned mass is leached at 70 ° C for I h at a ratio of SRI, the calcination ratio / / (504 1: 1.4,
2,The results on the yield of the product from the concentration of sulfuric acid are summarized in table, 2,
1-3%,Consequently, a solution of sulfuric acid concentration below 1% is unsuitable due to low iron recovery, and above 3% the degree of iron recovery becomes constant. Thus, a positive e, 1 effect is obtained in D range of concentration of sulfuric acid of 1-3%,
Пример, Составл ют шихту из 1 кг огарка, содержащего, % Fe 54,8 Zn 0,75; Си 0,4; As 0,13; Аи 1,5 г/т и Ag 40 г/т и 2,5 кг сульфата аммони ,Example: The mixture is made up of 1 kg of calcine containing,% Fe 54.8 Zn, 0.75; C 0.4; As 0.13; Au 1.5 g / t and Ag 40 g / t and 2.5 kg of ammonium sulfate,
The mixture is charged with an oven into the furnace and heated for 1 hour at 400 ° C,
The burned mass is cemented for 1 h with a 3% sulfuric solution.

кислоты при 70°С, соотнощение в пульпе ,acid at 70 ° C, the ratio in the pulp,
Обжигом последней получают 0,75 кг целевого продукта (), в котором содержание железа 63%, а меди, цинка, мышь ка и серы не превышает 0,01% каждого .The filtrate in a volume of 3 liters is treated with ammonia released during the burning process, and iron hydroxide (TTI) is precipitated in an amount of I kg. Annealing of the latter yields 0.75 kg of the desired product (), in which the iron content is 63%, and copper, zinc, arsenic and sulfur does not exceed 0.01% each.
Circulating solution in the amount of 2.8 l, heated to 80 ° С, treated with hydrogen sulfide and sulfides of copper, zinc and mice are precipitated. The mother liquor is evaporated until 60-70% of the water is removed and the vapor is introduced into the initial stage of the process. The slurry remaining after filtration containing a; and Au are sent for further processing.
Thus, the proposed process is simpler by reducing the number of operations and provides an intensification of the processing of iron-containing wastes. Due to the closeness of the process, harmful gassing and loss of reagents with spent solutions, which are returned to the initial stage of the process, are excluded.
