Description
Known methods for smelting lead dust and other industries in an electric furnace with sodium sulphate and coal and removing the rough lead obtained in the mine smelting process. However, the existing methods for processing lead-containing dusts do not provide complex metal extraction, entail large losses of sulfuric acid and do not allow the mouse to be completely removed from the process.
The use of the described method eliminates the indicated disadvantages. Its distinctive feature is that 20-25% of sodium sulfate, 5-10% of lead sulfide concentrate and 4-5% of carbon-containing reductant are introduced into the initial dust and melted at 1050-1150 ° in an electric furnace. As a result of this melting get rough lead; a melt of thiosols containing small, rare metals, zinc and copper; cadmium sublimates. The resulting crude lead is subjected to refining, and cadmium sublimates are processed according to the known sulfuric acid scheme. The resulting thiosol in solid or molten form is fed to the de-mixing of the rough lead of the smelting shaft. Lead, after deceleration, is fed to further refining, and molten thi salts, enriched in the process of deceleration, with copper; zinc, mouse and rare metals, are hydrometallurgical treated with water leaching. In the process of water leaching, the mice ... and the sodium is transferred into a solution, from which the mouse is cemented with aluminum, and the sodium is extracted as soda by carbonizing the solution after separating the mouse. Selected after water leaching of the melt with thiosols, the cake containing zinc, copper, indium, tellurium, selenium, and gallium is processed in a known manner by sulfatization with sulfuric acid.
