Способ очистки газов от сернистых соединений с получением элементарной серы в присутствии циркулирующего катализатора при повышенной температуре, отличающийся тем, что, с целью повышения селективности образования серы, уменьшения расхода катализатора и обеспечения возможности переработки запыленных газов, процесс проводят в восходящем потоке микросферического или порошкообразного катализатора при 151 - 280С.2. Способ по п. 1, отличающийся тем, что, с целью упрощения процесса, очистку осуществляют при 210 - 280С.3. Способ по п.1, отличающийся тем, что при осуществлении процесса при 151 - 210С 5 - 10% циркулирующего катализатора направляют на регенерацию.1.
