Целью изобретени вл етс повышение сорбцион- ной емкости абсорбента. Дл осуществлени очистки газа, содержащего примеси -сероводорода и диоксида серы, газ контактируют с абсорбентом, содержащим раствор окиси или гидроокиси алюмини или кремни во фтористоводородной кислоте 0,01-12%, или кремни во фтористоводородной кислоте , фовфат аммони или натри , или кали 0,55-15%, фосфорную кислоту 0,45-15,00, воду - остальное. Процесс ведут при 0,1 МПа и 20-25°С.
