Abstract

Drum type washing machine (1) includes cylindrical rotary drum (5) having a closed bottom; cylindrical water tub (3) having a closed bottom and accommodating therein rotary drum (5); detergent dispenser (27) for loading therein a detergent, a detergent-mixed water obtained by supplying water into detergent dispenser (27) being supplied into water tub (3); and heater (11) for heating the detergent-mixed water up to a target temperature, heater (11) being installed in washing water heating bath (1) provided at a lower portion of water tub (3). Near a path of the water supplied into detergent dispenser (27), detergent dispenser (27) is provided with condensing unit (67) for condensing water from moist air drawn therethrough, and an opening of air flow path (48) communicating with water tub (3) is provided at an upstream side of condensing unit (67).
