Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and a means for atomizing liquids, such as metal melts in which a tapping stream (6) of the liquid encounters one or more media jets (9), e.g. gas and/or liquid. The mixed stream obtained is directed towards a barrier (10) with the object of achieving effective dispersion of the liquid in the media, i.e. atomization.
