Abstract

The present invention relates to a corrugated board comprising at least one liner and at least one corrugated medium, wherein said at least one liner comprises a first polymer coating layer formed by extrusion coating of a furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA) based resin onto at least one surface of the liner characterized in that the FDCA based resin comprises at least 50 % by weight of a FDCA based polymer. The present invention also relates to a method for producing said corrugated board.
