Claims (21)
1. En komposition innefattande lignin och ett lösningsmedel;där ligninet har funktionaliserats med en etergrupp innefattande en C5 eller längrealkylgrupp, och där lösningsmedlet innefattar åtminstone en kolväteolja i en halt av åtminstone 10 vikt% av den totala kompositionen.
2. Kompositionen enligt patentkravl där lösningsmedlet dessutom innefattar ett organsikt lösningsmedel.
3. Kompositionen enligt patentkrav 2 där ligninhalten i kompositionen är 1 vikt%eller mer, eller 2 vikt% eller mer, eller 3 vikt% eller mer, eller 5 vikt% eller mer, eller 10 vikt% eller mer.
4. Kompositionen enligt något av patentkravenl-S där halten av kolväteolja äråtminstone 20 vikt%, eller åtminstone 30 vikt%, eller åtminstone 40 vikt%, elleråtminstone 50 vikt%, eller åtminstone 60 vikt%, eller åtminstone 70 vikt%, eller åtminstone 80 vikt%, eller åtminstone 90 vikt% av den totala kompositionen.
5. Kompositionen enligt något av patentkravenl-4 i vilken viktsmedelvärdet avmolekylvikten av ligninet eller ligninderivatet inte är mer än 2000 g/ mol, eller inte mer än 1000 g/mol.
6. Kompositionen enligt något av patentkravenl-5 där etergruppen innefattar en C7eller längre alkylgrupp, så som C10 eller längre, eller C13 eller längre, eller C15 eller längre.
7. Kompositionen enligt något av patentkravenl-6 där antalet ekvivalenteretergrupper till repeterande enheter lignin är åtminstone 0,2, eller åtminstone 0,4, eller åtminstone 0,6, eller åtminstone 0,8, eller 1.
8. Kompositionen enligt patentkrav2 där det organiska lösningsmedlet är en sulfoxid, en alkohol eller en aldehyd.
9. Kompositionen enligt något av patentkraven1 till 7 där lösningsmedlet dessutominnefattar hexan, toluen, dimetylsulfoxid, pyridin, THF, 1,4-dioxan, furfural, dipropylenglykol, polyetylenglykol eller 1,3-propandiol, eller en kombination därav.
10. Kompositionen enligt något av patentkraven1 till 8 där kompositionen är en enfas-komposition.
11. 1 1. Kompositionen enligt något av de föregående patentkraven där kompositionen dessutom innefattar en fettsyra eller en fettsyra-alkylester.

Ett förfarande för att framställa kompositionen enligt något av patentkraven1 till 11 innefattande: -tillhandahålla lignin eller ligninderivat som har ett viktsmedelvärdet av molekylvikten som inte är mer än 5.000 g/ mol; -tillhandahålla ett lösningsmedel innefattande åtminstone en alkohol, eter, sulfoxid, keton, aldehyd eller ester eller blandning därav, och en bärarvätska; - tillsätta ligninet eller ligninderivatet till lösningsmedlet och bärarvätskan för att erhålla en koncentration på åtminstone 4 vikt% och blanda.
13. Förfarandet enligt patentkrav 1 1 där kompositionen värms när den blandas till en temperatur mellan 50 och 350°C.
14. Förfarandet enligt något av patentkraven1 1 till 12 där en fettysyratillhandahålls och tillsätts till blandningen.
15. Förfarandet enligt något av patentkraven1 1 till 13 där ligninet eller ligninderivatet är erhållet från svart- eller rödlut eller lignin från etanolproduktion.
16. Förfarandet enligt något av patentkraven1 1 till 13 där ligninet eller ligninderivatet är erhållet från: -kemiskreduktion genom att använda en övergångsmetallkatalysator; -surgörning och fällning; -filtrering, ultrafiltrering eller korsflödesultrafiltrering; eller -någon kombination därav, av svart- eller rödlut eller restmaterial från etanolproduktion.
17. Användning av kompositionen enligt något av patentkravenl till 10 förframställning av bränsle så som bensin och diesel, eller diesel- och bensinanaloger, eller biobränsle eller biodiesel, eller bränsletillsatser.
18. Ett förfarande att framställa bränsle innefattande att behandla kompositionenenligt något av patentkravenl till 9 i en vätgasbehandlare eller en katalytisk kracker.
19. Ett bränsle erhållet från kompositionen enligt något av patentkravenl till 10.
20. Användning av kompositionen enligt något av patentkravenl till 10 för framställning av kemikalier eller färg.
21. Användning av kompositionen enligt något av patentkravenl till 10 såsomstelnat malningshjälpmedel, härdningshämmare för cement, förstärkare avcement, antioxidant, förstärkare av termiskt skydd, stabiliseringsmedel i asfalt,emulgeringsmedel, fiberförstärkande tillsats, korsbindningsmedel,pappbindemedel, antikorrosionstillsats, antinötningstillsats,antifriktionstillsats, bindemedel, emulgerings- eller dispersionsmedel,korsbindande eller härdmedel, eller som en vattenabsorptionsinhibitor eller somett fluidiseringsmedel, som en antibakteriell eller antifungal yta eller som en barriär, för att impregnera trä eller som ett antikorrosionsmedel.
