Abstract
The invention concerns a method for the combustion of material in a fluidized-bed boiler and the fluidized-bed boiler (1). The boiler possesses a combustion chamber in the conventional way, into which is fed combustible materials, primary air from beneath and also secondary air to maintain the combustion. Secondary air is conveyed into the boiler along a duct which is essentially central with respect to the cross section (5) of the boiler and the secondary air thus introduced is blown via nozzles (6) at the end of the duct towards the walls of the boiler.
