Abstract

FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: method deals with selective catheterization of tumor-supplying vessel and administration of chemopreparation of ferrosilicone composition via catheter and ivalone if necessary. In 3-4 weeks after intraorgan occlusion local electromagnetic high frequency hyperthermy is conducted at 44-46 C in tumor for 45-60 minutes. EFFECT: improved achievement of remission in oncological patients at 3-4 stages of disease.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to surgery and may find application in the treatment of cancer patients. The method consists in the selective catheterization of the vessel that feeds the tumor, and the introduction through the catheter of a chemotherapeutic agent, a ferrosilicon composition and, if necessary, aivalon. After 3 to 4 weeks after intraorgan occlusion, local electromagnetic RF hyperthermia is carried out at a temperature in the tumor of 44 - 46 o C for 45 - 60 minutes. The method ensures the achievement of remission in severe cancer patients with 3 to 4 stages of the disease.
