Изобретение относится к способу радиальной сварки трением преимущественно армированной трубы и концевой втулки, выполненных из термопластов, в производстве трубопроводов для агрессивных сред под давлением. Задача изобретения состоит в обеспечении требующегося качества изделий для тяжелых условий эксплуатации. Согласно изобретению свариваемые детали взаимно сопрягают с натягом по двум посадочным поверхностям разного диаметра и приводят в относительное вращение. Посадочная поверхность с меньшим диаметром, равным внутреннему диаметру армирующего каркаса трубы, и меньшей длиной, соизмеримой с толщиной стенки трубы, несет функцию герметизации каркаса от проникновения среды.
