Description

The invention relates to devices intended for mounting light sources, in particular candles, in a book, magazine, etc., while reading.

The prior art various devices for highlighting a book while reading.

For example, from the document CN 103292162 A, a device is known for illuminating a book while reading, containing a clothespin, a flexible bar and a light source.

A candlestick is known from CN 201496830 U, which can be used during the absence of electrical energy.

However, the disadvantage of the entire prior art is that in the absence of an energy source, the light source is quite bulky and requires additional batteries.

However, it is not always possible to connect a power source, including a battery, to a light source.

In addition, it is not possible to use a light source, in particular a candle, non-stationary.

The problem to which the claimed invention is directed is to eliminate the disadvantages of the prior art.

Thus, the technical result to which the claimed invention is directed is the possibility of non-stationary and compact use of a candle in any operation, in particular during storage, transportation and reading.

In addition, the claimed candlestick is compact during transportation and storage.

A candlestick for reading books consists of a flat base and a candle holder fixed on its upper part. A candlestick for lighting and placement in a book while reading consists of a flat base (1) and a candle holder (2). The base (1) consists of the embedded element (3), which is installed between the pages of the book, the visible part (4), which extends beyond the book, an emphasis (5), which allows the base to be in the correct position when used, resting on the end of the book ( not shown), and a mechanism (6) securing the candle holder (2) to the base (1) and allowing to fix the candle holder (2) in the required position.

A cylindrical element (7) is mounted on the upper part of the base (1). The mechanism (6) is a cylinder with clamps (8) with or without a constant step with smooth rotation, by which the mechanism (6) is fixed in various positions.

On the visible part (4) of the base (1) there is a recess (9), repeating the shape of the candle holder (2) for its placement in a position for compact storage and transportation.

Use the claimed device as follows.

After placing it in the book, the candlestick is fixed with a stop, which prevents the candlestick from lowering below the required level spontaneously, and is also pressed to the cover by the last pages of the book. Thus, after placement in the book, only the visible part acts with the candle holder rotating on the transverse axis of the base. The rotation of the candle holder is necessary to solve two problems:

a) a change in the angle of inclination of the candle relative to the position of the book in space,

b) folding the candlestick into the storage or transportation position, pressing the candle holder against the back wall of the candlestick.

Thanks to the use of this product, there is no need to hold the candle by hand or search for other lighting for reading text in the absence of natural or electric lighting, as well as the direct desire to use the candle as a light source. The aesthetic beauty from using the light of the open fire of a candle is retained, but the use of a candle becomes not burdensome. Depending on the position of the book or other reading object, the angle of inclination of the candle in the product varies arbitrarily at the request of the user, which allows the product to be used without restrictions on the format of use: in the user's hands or when the object is placed on a horizontal or inclined surface.
