Глиняную массу увлажняют приготовленной суспензией до 26% и (при помощи дырчатых вальцов) формуют гранулы. Гранулы заполнителя сушат до влажности 6% и обжигают (во вращающихся печах барабанного типа) при температуре 1100°С.
