Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine, in particular to veterinary surgery, can be used in the treatment of purulent pododermatitis.
Л.Д. И. П. - №1. - С. 44-46].A powdered drug is known for the local treatment of purulent, burn wounds, for example, SKN-1K sorbent, which is a spherical granule of activated carbon, the use of which is based on their hydrophilicity. Exudate with bacteria and decay products is aspirated from the wound. The wound surface is actively cleansed of purulent-necrotic masses. However, the sorbent is quite quickly saturated with wound exudate and loses its suction ability [Taranenko L.D. Experience with the use of SKN-1K sorbent in the treatment of purulent wounds. / L.D. Taranenko, V.I. Bondarev, G.P. Nefedov et al. // Clinical Surgery, 1984. - No. 1. - S. 44-46].
However, the known powder has a disadvantage: long periods of treatment and limited use for inflammatory processes complicated by purulent discharge.
The technical result of the invention is the reduction of treatment time for purulent pododermatitis in cows.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that the active substance is diatomite - a sorbent based on highly dispersed silica, uniformly mixed with copper sulfate, potassium permanganate and furatsillin, respectively, in a ratio of 1.5: 0.5: 1: 1 into a fine powder.
The proposed drug is obtained by mixing the above components, g:
This powder is used as follows: after surgical treatment, a sterile napkin with a powder (0.1 ... 0.2 mm) consisting of a natural sorbent - diatomite, copper sulfate, potassium permanganate and furatsilin is applied to the affected defect.
Introduction to the recipe of the proposed powder - diatomite will increase the hydrophilic properties of this drug, which improves the outflow of wound exudate, as well as enhances antiseptic properties, which in general will allow cleansing and granulation of purulent-necrotic defect of the skin base of the hooves at an earlier date.
Tests of this powder in the experimental treatment of purulent pododermatitis in cows showed high therapeutic efficacy. As a result of the treatment, exudative processes stopped at 6.20 ± 0.800 days, the onset of granulation tissue formation occurred at 3 days, and epidermization processes at 8.10 ± 0.767 days, and at 14.70 ± 0.831 days, the clinical sign of “lameness” was not detected. Complete clinical recovery in animals occurred on average at 25.0 ± 2.83 days.
The proposed therapeutic agent in the form of fine powder is highly effective and can be recommended for widespread use in veterinary practice to reduce the healing time of pathological processes of the base of the skin of the hoof in cows.
