SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engobe compositions which can be used in making household ceramic articles (dishes, casks, jars, racks etc). The engobe contains, wt %: clay 68.3-77.0; ground scrap sheet window glass 5.0-7.0; a colouring additive 0.5-9.0; glycerol 0.3-0.7; zircon 3.0-4.0; bone ash 11.0-13.0. Components of the mixture are mixed and glycerol is added. Moisture content of the engobe should be 35-50%. The engobe is applied onto the surface of moulded ceramic articles and fired. The engobe has heat resistance of 190-210°C.

EFFECT: high heat resistance of the engobe.

Компоненты дозируют в требуемых количествах. В шаровую мельницу загружают бой оконного листового стекла, циркон и размалывают в течение 2-3 часов сухим способом, затем загружают беложгушуюся глину (любых месторождений), выбранную окрашивающую добавку, костяную золу, заливают воду и проводят измельчение компонентов до остатка не более 2% на сетке №008. В готовый ангоб добавляют глицерин и перемешивают. Влажность ангоба должна составлять 35-50%. Приготовленный ангоб наносят на поверхность отформованных керамических изделий. Ангобированные изделия подсушивают, после чего на их поверхность напыляют слой прозрачной глазури. Обжиг изделий проводят при температуре 1050-1150°C.The components are dosed in the required amounts.
