Abstract

FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of an aromatised smoking mixture intended for hookah smoking. The smoking mixture for the hookah includes a tobacco material, a taste and an aromatic additives and a food colouring agent; the taste additive is represented by beet molasses introduced into the mixture; the ratio of the taste substance components (i.e. glycerine, honey, beet molasses and lemon) is equal to 3:2:2:1; the aromatic additive is represented by a solution of an aromatic substance in ethyl alcohol, polypropylene glycol and water at a ratio of 1:3:1:3; the mixture components content is as follows, wt %: taste additive - 37.0±1; aromatic additive - 11.0±0.5; food colouring agent - 4.5±1; tobacco material - balance.

EFFECT: technological process simplification alongside with preservation of the tobacco smoke flavour originality, stability of the smoking mixture quality, reduction of the prime cost of the target product, the product range expansion.

Description

The invention relates to the tobacco industry, namely to obtain a flavored smoking mixture intended for smoking using a hookah.

Hookah tobaccos are widely known, which are not used in any other method of smoking, as Classic hookah tobacco is wet and clammy and is similar in texture to jam. Such tobacco is usually flavored by soaking in fruit (berry juice) or even wine. In addition, they use a variety of flavorings for water in a hookah: fruit and flower oils. Three main types of tobacco for hookah: tombak (pure tobacco of Middle Eastern origin, no additives), beetle (tobacco of Indian origin with the addition of oils and pieces of fruit) and moissil. The most popular type of hookah tobacco is moissan, a mixture of tobacco and molasses or honey. Glycerin and essences with a diverse aroma of fresh fruits, mint and the taste of prunes, nuts, etc. are also added to the mixture. Apple is considered to be the main fruit variety of hookah tobacco (E.V. Sviridenko. The world of tobacco. Harvest. 2006. 275 pp.).

The first hookah tobacco was produced in Russia under the control of the Elite Tabak Trade company called “Shisha” (meaning “hookah”), the recipe of which includes apricot, or orange, or banana. Tobacco is produced in two packaging options: in a cardboard box of 40 g or in a plastic can of 250 g. Tajmahal tobacco is also produced in Russia. The manufacturer developed the tastes of the formulations, which include orange, or banana, or vanilla, packaged in sealed containers of 50 g (website: www.tabak.tabak.ru/catalogue/Hookahs_tobacco/).

The above compositions include traditional substances that improve the taste and aroma, and do not have an original bouquet of tobacco smoke.

Known smoking composition (RU 2380991 C1, 02/10/2010, bull. No. 4), including tobacco material, flavors "Apple" and "Vanilla", additionally contains corn starch, crystalline glucose, sodium benzoate, food color - red paint PONSO E124 , honey, lemon, baking soda, glycerin and sugar syrup in the following ratio, wt.%:

The disadvantage of the smoking composition is the multicomponent mixture and the use of an additional preservative (sodium benzoate).

The specified composition is closest in terms of the constituent components of the mixture and adopted as a prototype.

The technical result of the invention is to simplify the process while maintaining the originality of a bouquet of tobacco smoke, the stability of the quality of the smoking mixture, reducing the cost of the target product, expanding the range.

To achieve a technical result in a smoking mixture for hookah, comprising tobacco material, flavoring and aromatic additives and food coloring, according to the invention, beet molasses is introduced into the mixture as a flavoring additive, while the ratio of the components of the flavoring substance is glycerin, honey, beet molasses and lemon is (3: 2: 2: 1), as an aromatic additive, a solution of the aromatic substance in ethanol, polypropylene glycol and water in the ratio (1: 3: 1: 3) was used, and the content of the components of the mixture with eduyuschee, wt.%:

Flavoring additive (sauce), as a rule, is a water-soluble mixture of various ingredients, each of which has a directed functional value. The traditional ingredients that make up the sauce are substances characterized by:

- high in carbohydrates, for example sugar, honey, glucose, fruit syrups;

- water-retaining properties, for example glycerin;

- change the acidity of tobacco smoke, for example citric acid;

- preservatives, for example sodium benzoate.

In the present invention, the flavoring additive (sauce) consists of a mixture of traditionally used substances: glycerin, honey, lemon and beet molasses is introduced into the composition. This is a by-product of sugar production, in which the mass fraction of sucrose is at least 43%. Beet molasses contains a large amount of carbohydrates, is highly soluble in water, technologically advanced, has no unpleasant odor, and has a low cost.

Glycerin is used to give smokiness as the main indicator of the quality of smoking using hookah, so its ratio in the flavor should be higher.

Honey in the flavor is used as a preservative and to give sweetness and a sense of honey taste and aroma. Natural honey according to GOST 19792-2001.

Lemon in the flavor regulates acidity, gives a natural aroma and taste.

To determine the optimal amount of ingredients, sauce was prepared in various ratios. A comparative analysis of the taste and smoking properties of hookah mixtures using sauces with different ratios of ingredients showed that the highest tasting ratings were obtained for mixtures containing glycerin, honey, molasses and lemon in the ratio (3: 2: 2: 1). The use of the sauce of the proposed composition for processing tobacco can improve the taste properties of the smoke of the smoking mixture for hookah and give stability to the quality of the inventive smoking mixture.

As an aromatic additive to the hookah mixture, natural aromatic additives are used, which are used to enhance, modify and stabilize the aroma of tobacco smoke. In the present invention, as an aromatic additive, a solution of the aromatic substance in ethyl alcohol, polypropylene glycol and water in the ratio (1: 3: 1: 3) is used. An aqueous solution of alcohol dissolves the flavor better, and propylene glycol stabilizes the aroma, which together allows you to get the target product with constant properties that stabilize the quality of the inventive smoking mixture. When selecting the ratios, it was found that an increase in the amount of aromatic substance in the composition of the solution leads to a deterioration in the taste of the smoking mixture, since the traditional taste of the tobacco material is inhibited, a smaller amount of aromatic substance is practically not felt when smoking a hookah, the above ratio is most optimal.

The smoking mixture for hookah is made as follows.

Pre-sorted and selected tobacco leaves of the Virginia variety, not damaged by diseases and pests. Middle veins are removed from the tobacco sheet. Grind tobacco leaves to a size of at least 1 cm ² . The crushed tobacco leaves are washed with water at a temperature of 85 ° C for 8 hours with a change of water every hour. Shredded tobacco is separated from the water and dried and mixed, in which the gluings are broken. Then, dried ground tobacco is dried in an open container to a moisture content of 20%. Then put the tobacco in a closed container and keep it at a temperature of 45 ° C for 7 days. A sauce solution is pre-prepared: glycerin, honey, beet molasses and lemon are mixed in a ratio of 3: 2: 2: 1, the mixture is heated in a water bath to a temperature of not more than 60 ° C with constant stirring until a homogeneous mass is obtained, and then cooled to room temperature . The cooled sauce solution is applied to the prepared ground tobacco and mixed. An aromatic additive is prepared - a solution of the aromatic substance in ethyl alcohol, polypropylene glycol and water, in the ratio (1: 3: 1: 3) and food coloring, red paint PONSO E124 is introduced into it. Then, the prepared aromatic additive is introduced into the mixture of tobacco with sauce. Thoroughly mix all the components of the mixture, carrying out its homogenization. The homogeneous mixture is kept in a closed container at room temperature for 7 days, while the mixture is stirred every 6 hours. The obtained target product of the smoking mixture consistently resembles jam. The smoking mixture is packaged in a sealed package.

The invention is illustrated by the following examples.

Experienced smoking blends for hookah were made of several types, table 1.

A tasting evaluation of the manufactured samples of hookah mixtures was carried out, table 2.

Analysis of the obtained data shows that the optimal ratio of the components of the mixture can be proposed in the following composition, wt.%: Flavoring - 37.0 ± 1; aromatic additive - 11.0 ± 0.5; food coloring - 4.5 ± 1; tobacco material - the rest.

When studying the above description, specialists of the tobacco industry can make numerous variants and modifications of the invention, therefore, they fall within the scope of claims expressed in the claims.

Thus, the proposed smoking mixture for hookah provides an original bouquet of tobacco smoke, the stability of the quality of the inventive smoking mixture, can reduce the cost of the target product and expand the range.
