Abstract

FIELD: means and methods of wood treatment for its protection from decay and wood-destroying insects. SUBSTANCE: means for wood treatment contain, at least, the following components: (a) 10-90 parts of coal tar; (b) 2-20 parts of quaternary ammonium compound possessing biocide properties; (c) 10-90 parts of water. Offered means present stable emulsions produced by simple method and are distinguishing, particularly, by high penetrating ability, considerable reduction of odor of wood materials treated with said means, absence of undesirable accumulation of coal tar on surface of treated wood and reduction to a large degree of coal tar showing through that surface at summer temperatures, noticeable increase of their efficiency in spite of reduced content of coal tar, and reduced toxicity as compared with pure coal tar. 1. Средство обработки древесины для защиты от гниения и поражения насекомыми, содержащее в своем составе, по меньшей мере, следующие компоненты:1.
