After thorough mixing, the internal fat of the boar or bear is introduced into the mixture. Ointment-balm is thoroughly mixed and kept in a warm room with open access to oxygen.

Ointment-balm changes color from light green to dark green, and after 5-10 years - to light brown. It has a weak specific smell and an unpleasant taste. The therapeutic effect of ointment-balm increases over time, easily tolerates temperature changes from +30 to -15 ^o C. Store in a dark place under room conditions, with constant access of oxygen. For long-term storage, you can use a refrigerator, a cellar, but under a tight lid, pour sea buckthorn oil on the top layer of 1 mm.
