Description

The invention relates to the food industry, relates to means for the prevention of atherosclerosis and can be used as a biologically active food supplement.

Along with chemical medicinal products, various medicinal plants and products are widely used to lower cholesterol, including their alcohol tinctures, for example, alcohol tincture of grass clover meadow (N. Maznev. 2500 recipes of traditional medicine. - M .: Martin, 2002, p. 547).

Known dry extract of red wine containing polyphenols, which has anti-atherosclerotic effect, reduces the risk of strokes and myocardial infarction, used as a dietary supplement. The extract does not contain ethyl alcohol. (Federal register of biologically active food additives in Russia No. 004971.P.643.11.2002, 11.29.2002 from Evalar (Russia) (prototype).

Disadvantages: insufficiently effective prophylactic antisclerotic activity due to a unilateral, mainly antioxidant mechanism of action.

The invention is aimed at solving problems: enhancing preventive anti-atherosclerotic properties, ease of use.

Effect: obtaining a new biologically active food supplement with enhanced antisclerotic effect.

The objectives are achieved using a product containing 96% ethyl alcohol, dry red wine extract and deionized, distilled or softened water in the following ratio, wt.%: Dry red wine extract - 0.063-0.164, ethyl alcohol 96% - 20 , 99-39.31, water - the rest.

The tool is based on a mixture of two components with different antisclerotic effects. It is known that consumption of pure ethyl alcohol up to 20 g daily reduces the risk of stroke and myocardial infarction, delays the development of atherosclerosis or stabilizes the development of existing atherosclerotic plaques. Water reduces the irritating effect of ethyl alcohol on the stomach and makes it possible to filter it. Dry extract of red wine also has an antisclerotic effect. A mixture of these two components, which have different mechanisms of antisclerotic action, reinforcing the action of each other, provides an effective tool for the prevention of atherosclerosis.

An agent for the prevention of atherosclerosis is obtained as follows: to prepare 1000 ml of the agent, take 0.6-1.5 g of a standardized dry extract of red wine and dissolve it in 100 ml of deionized or distilled or softened water. Then a water-alcohol solution is prepared by bringing 200-360 g of rectified ethyl alcohol of 96% grade “lux” or “extra” or “higher purification” from food raw materials to 900 ml with deionized, distilled or softened water. Filter the water-alcohol solution by any filtration method, for example, through activated carbon. Next, 100 ml of the prepared aqueous solution of the red wine extract is added to 900 ml of the purified aqueous-alcoholic solution. The prepared product is subjected to filtration from insoluble solids in any way, for example through a mechanical filter. The finished solution is poured into a bottle of dark glass.

For the prevention of atherosclerosis, the drug is used in 30-50 ml daily, 1 time per day, or 2-3 times a week, in the evening, during dinner, in courses of 30-45 receptions. In the interval between courses, it is recommended to take other preventive anti-atherosclerotic drugs. During the reception, it is not recommended to take alcohol.

Examples of specific performance.

Example 1

To prepare 100 ml of prophylactic atherosclerotic agent, 0.06 g of dry extract of red wine was dissolved in 10 ml of water; 20 g of 96% ethanol were adjusted with water to 90 ml. The water-alcohol mixture was filtered through activated carbon. A solution of the dry extract of red wine was added to the water-alcohol mixture. It was filtered through a mechanical filter to separate insoluble solids contained in the extract.

Example 2

To prepare 100 ml of prophylactic atherosclerotic drugs, 0.15 g of dry extract of red wine was dissolved in 10 ml of water; 36 g of 96% ethanol were adjusted with water to 90 ml. The water-alcohol mixture was filtered through activated carbon. A solution of the dry extract of red wine was added to the water-alcohol mixture. It was filtered through a mechanical filter to separate insoluble solids contained in the extract.

The proposed tool can be used to prevent atherosclerosis and stabilize atherosclerotic vascular lesions.
