Abstract

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: massager can be used for medicinal and sanitary body massage. Massager has cylindrical massage shaft with shanks and unlike massaging members onto cylindrical surface of the shaft. Massaging members project over surface of shaft. They are grouped in rows and are disposed in alternation. Shaft is mounted for rotation around axis between sides of brace onto which brace the handle is mounted. Longitudinal parallel grooves are mounted onto removable massaging shaft; the grooves have one end open. Removable "cold" and "hot" massaging members with cylindrical massaging surface are mounted in any groove in a row for rotation around axis. Axes of massaging members are oriented in parallel to axis of massaging shaft. Side outputs of the grooves are closed with removable disc mounted onto shank. Massaging member can be made in form of air-proof container and can be filled with some known medium having high heat capacity or with medium being capable of keeping cold. For better comfort at application, "cold" and "hot" massaging members are painted in different colors. Massage can be realized due to combination of mechanical and thermo-contrast effect.

Description

The invention relates to medical equipment, and in particular to devices for conducting therapeutic and health-improving body massage.

Known massage roller, which is mounted on the axis and is equipped with two handles. Hollow massage elements are fixed on the roller surface [SU 1727834 A1, 04/23/1992]. During the massage, the massage roller is held with two hands by the handles and rolled over the body. In this case, the massage elements have a multidirectional mechanical effect on the patient's body.

The disadvantage of this massage device is that the massage effect is limited only by mechanical action.

Known massager containing a handle at the end of which and perpendicular to it on the axes with the possibility of rotation mounted cylindrical rollers with interchangeable cylindrical shells. On the surface of the latter there are various forms of massage elements in the form of protrusions of various configurations. A handle is connected to the housing [SN 664486, 05/10/1984]. Massage is carried out by rolling the rollers on the corresponding surface of the patient's body.

The disadvantage of this massager is that the massage effect is limited only by mechanical action.

Known massager containing a housing in the form of a bracket, between the sides of which on the axis is mounted rotatably mounted cylindrical massage roller. On the surface of the roller there are two types of massage elements grouped in separate rows: in the form of cylindrical protrusions with a spherical working surface and in the form of protrusions-suction cups. All rows of massage elements are located along the roller and parallel to each other. Moreover, rows consisting of cylindrical protrusions alternate with rows consisting of protrusions-suction cups. A rod-shaped handle is connected to the housing [DE 4314362 A1, 11/03/1994]. Massage is carried out by rolling a massage roller over the patient's body.

The disadvantage of the massager is that the massage performed with it is limited only by the mechanical effect on the patient's body.

The massager according to patent DE 4314362 in its technical essence is closest to the claimed device and, therefore, is considered as a prototype.

The technical result of the invention is to increase the effectiveness of massage by implementing combined and simultaneously produced mechanical and thermal contrast effects, dispersed in a certain order of different-temperature massage elements.

The specified technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the known massager containing a cylindrical massage roller with trunnions and protruding on the cylindrical surface protruding above the surface of the roller, grouped in rows and arranged in an alternating order of heterogeneous massage elements, and the roller is installed with the possibility rotation around the axis between the sides of the bracket on which the handle is mounted, longitudinal parallel grooves open at one end are made on a removable massage roller and in each of them in a row and rotatable about an axis mounted removable "cold" and "hot" massaging Cylindrical element with a cylindrical working surface, the axis of massage elements are oriented parallel to the axis of the massage roller, and lateral outlets of the grooves are covered on the journal while wearing removable disk.

The massage element may be in the form of a sealed container filled with any known substance with a high heat capacity or a substance capable of retaining cold. For convenience, "cold" and "hot" massage elements are painted in different colors.

The essence of the invention is illustrated by drawings, where: in Fig.1 shows a top view of the massager; figure 2 - massage element with a local incision; figure 3 is a longitudinal section of the massager in the plane aa in figure 1; figure 4 is a side view of the massager.

The massager contains an easily and quickly removable cylindrical massage roller 1 (Figs. 1, 3, 4), mounted between the parallel sidewalls 2 of the bracket 3 with a possibility of rotation around the axis, and a handle 4. mounted on the bracket. A series of longitudinal parallel parallel open from one end is made grooves 5 and in each of them in a row, in order of alternation and with the possibility of rotation around the axis, removable "cold" and "hot" cylindrical massage elements 6 are partially protruding above the surface of the roller 1. At the ends of the massage roller 1 there are two coaxial trunnions 7, which are installed in the grooves 8 (Fig. 3) made at the ends of the sidewalls 2. The exits from the grooves are blocked by a lintel 9, superimposed on the bracket 3 and in its main features repeating its shape. Directional movement of the latch is ensured by its placement in parallel grooves made in the sides 10 along the outer edges of the sidewalls 2. The latch is fixed using a screw 11 that is screwed into the threaded hole 12 at the base of the handle 4. The axial movements of the massage elements are limited on one side by the end wall 13 of the massage roller 1, and on the other, the disk 14, in which there is a central hole and it is worn on the pin with the possibility of removal.

On both side (end) walls of the massage element are made coaxially located protrusions 15 (figure 2) with a spherical surface. The adjacent “cold” and “hot” massage elements located in the same groove are in contact with each other only at the contact point of the spherical surfaces of the protrusions 15. Due to the very limited area of this contact, the possibility of heat exchange between the “cold” and “hot” massage elements is minimal. Massage element 6 (figure 2) can be made in the form of a sealed container filled with any known substance with high heat capacity or a substance that can keep cold. For convenience, "cold" and "hot" massage elements are painted in different colors.

Before the massage, one part of the massage elements 6 is pre-cooled, for example, in the freezer of a domestic refrigerator, and the other part, on the contrary, is heated, for example, by immersion in hot water. After that, the massager is assembled. To do this, cold and hot massage elements 6 are inserted in alternating order into the grooves 5 on the roller 1. As a result, on the surface of the massage roller, the different-temperature massage elements should be staggered, i.e. in each pair of adjacent massage elements in both longitudinal and circular rows, one element must be cold and the other hot. The disk 14 is put on the pin 7 and then both pins are inserted into the grooves 8 at the ends of the sidewalls 2. The exits from the grooves are closed with the help of the hook 9, which is then fixed at the base of the handle 4 with the screw 11. To move the heck, use the screw head 11 as the handle .

During the massage, the massage roller of the device with the necessary effort is pressed against the surface of the corresponding part of the body and rolled back and forth in various directions. At the same time, adjacent body parts in the area of two adjacent massage elements are simultaneously exposed to a combined mechanical and rhythmically changing multi-temperature effect.

The invention allows to increase the therapeutic effectiveness of massage due to the implementation of combined and simultaneously produced mechanical and thermal contrast effects, dispersed in a certain order of different temperature massage elements.

A massager containing a cylindrical massage roller with trunnions and protruding on the cylindrical surface protruding above the surface of the roller, grouped in rows and arranged in alternating order of different massage elements, and the roller is mounted to rotate around an axis between the sides of the bracket on which handle, characterized in that longitudinal removable parallel grooves are made on a removable massage roller and in each of them in a row and with the possibility of rotation around the axis of the mouth removable “cold” and “hot” cylindrical massage elements with a cylindrical working surface have been updated, the axes of the massage elements are oriented parallel to the axis of the massage roller, and the lateral exits from the slots are blocked by a removable disk mounted on the axle. 2.
