FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating inflammatory processes of nasal antra of Highmore and neglected forms of chronic highmoritis at periodical exacerbations. The suggested preparation for treating highmoritis contains 0.05%-naphthysine solution and, additionally, freshly pressed out juice of cyclamen at the following ratio of components, weight portions: naphthysine 0.05%-solution 10, freshly pressed out juice of cyclamen 0.5-4, moreover, the dosage of the preparation should be gradually increased by scheme from1 drop to 5 drops on the 5^th d, and then it should be decreased in negative sequence. The preparation demonstrates no side action and habituation, terms of recovery are twice shorter against naphthysine-based therapy.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.

Description

The invention relates to medicine and, in particular, for the treatment of inflammatory processes of the maxillary sinus cavities and advanced forms of chronic sinusitis with periodic exacerbations.

Known drug used for rhinitis, hay runny nose and other allergic diseases of the nasal cavity - naphthyzine. In action, it is close to sympathomimetic amines, excites adrenoreactive systems, causes a narrowing of peripheral blood vessels and an increase in blood pressure [1]. However, as a medicine for the treatment of sinusitis, naphthyzin has a delayed anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effect, significantly stretching the duration of treatment. In addition, in the treatment of advanced stages of chronic sinusitis, it is ineffective. Depending on the circumstances and condition of the patient with sinusitis and sinusitis, substantial assistance to the patient is often required in the short term.

The problem to which the invention is directed, is to create a tool that has a more effective effect in the treatment of various forms of sinusitis and reduce treatment time.

The technical result from the use of the invention is expressed in a sharp improvement in the well-being of the patient in the very initial period of treatment and a significant reduction in the total duration of treatment for patients with sinusitis, including its neglected forms.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the agent for the treatment of sinusitis containing 0.05% naphthyzine solution, freshly squeezed cyclamen juice is additionally introduced in the following ratios of components, wt.h .:

Cyclamen is a perennial herbaceous plant of the primrose family with a modified stem and a flattened tuber in the form of an onion. The bulb is the medicinal raw material; it contains saponin, cyclamine, and bitter substances. Preparations made from cyclamen are used as anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial drugs. Use them in the form of fresh undiluted juice and various infusions. Freshly squeezed juice gives a very good effect for sinusitis, sinusitis, and also a headache of a cold nature [2].

The introduction of freshly squeezed cyclamen juice into a naphthyzine solution significantly increases the activity of the drug, shortens the total period and increases the effectiveness of treatment of sinusitis. Improving the patient's condition occurs within the first 3-5 minutes after instillation in the nose, 1-2 drops. In this case, an abundant secret follows from the nostrils, accompanied by repeated sneezing and cleansing of the sinuses. The relief that has come from the first minutes becomes stable and constant. The effect of the initial relief and successful subsequent treatment is due to the accelerating and enhancing effect of the newly introduced component - freshly squeezed cyclamen juice.

In the prior art, according to the sources of domestic and foreign information, no product was found containing a balanced set of components containing naphthyzin and freshly squeezed cyclamen juice, therefore, the claimed tool meets the patentability criterion of “inventive step”.

The preparation of agents for the treatment of sinusitis in the entire range of component ratios according to the table is as follows. The naphthyzine produced by the pharmaceutical industry with a content of 0.05% is usually packaged in bottles of 10 ml. Freshly squeezed cyclamen juice is extracted from plant bulbs and filtered under sterile conditions. Then the filtered juice is drawn into a 5 ml syringe. The slot in the aluminum cap of the bottle with naphthyzine is discarded and cyclamen juice from 0.5 to 4 ml is injected through a rubber stopper with a syringe. Then the syringe needle is removed from the cork of the bottle and the rubber tightens the hole, restoring the tightness. The aluminum cover is restored to its original state, and the tool is ready for use. To use the product, the aluminum cap is also unbent, a syringe needle is inserted, and fluid is drawn into the syringe. From the syringe, the liquid is poured into a small container, from which it is drawn into a pipette and instilled into the nose according to a predetermined treatment regimen. On the first day, one drop is instilled, on the second - two, and so on, up to five drops on the fifth day. Then take a break for three days and then in reverse order from five drops a day to one. This ends the course of treatment. If sinusitis is in an advanced stage and the first course of treatment was insufficient, it must be repeated again after 30 days in the same volume.

The anti-sinusitis treatment for sinusitis was used as intended in 66 patients aged 25 to 62 years. Moreover, the treatment was well tolerated by all patients. However, in the first minutes after instillation into the nose, most of them began to sneeze, there was a copious discharge of mucus from the nose, in some the discharge acquired a purulent form with a subsequent decrease and disappearance of polyps. Almost all patients had watery eyes, some additionally had a mild headache. After the initial reaction to the drug was completed, as a rule, it became easy for all patients to breathe. The course of treatment was carried out according to the scheme 1-5 and 5-1 with a break for three days. Treatment results were recorded individually for each patient. Four patients after three sessions had a mild headache with a slight increase in temperature. For them, a break was made for three days, after which the course of treatment was continued. The results of treatment of these patients are almost close to the results of other patients who were treated according to the usual scheme. The main 10-day course was for all patients, and the results, in general, are unexpectedly good. The sinuses cleared, lightness appeared in the head and throughout the body, which indicated the recovery of patients. Six patients with chronically advanced sinusitis had to undergo a full course of treatment again after a 30 day break, while the results were quite satisfactory. Subsequent observations of these and other patients who underwent a 10-day course of treatment confirmed the stability and high efficiency of treatment with the claimed agent.

The treatment for sinusitis containing 0.05% naphthyzine solution, characterized in that it additionally contains freshly squeezed cyclamen juice in the following ratio, wt.h .: naphthyzine 0.05% solution 10 freshly squeezed cyclamen juice 0.5-4 while the dose is gradually increased according to the scheme from 1 drop to 5 drops on the fifth day, and then reduced in the reverse order.
