Abstract

1. A method for processing beryllium concentrates containing fluorite, including low-temperature sulfation, high-temperature sulfation of the crushed concentrate with 93% sulfuric acid at a temperature of 250-300 ° C, water leaching of the prosulfated product, separation of leaching pulp into a solution of beryllium sulfate and cake, water washing beryllium, separation of the washing slurry into a washing solution and a waste cake, characterized in that the concentrate, crushed to a size of 45-85 microns, is subjected to sulfatization, low-temperature sulfation is carried out at a temperature of 130-170 ° C and mixing with sulfuric acid, taken in an amount of 50-70 % of the required, high-temperature sulfation is carried out with stirring with the rest of the sulfuric acid. 2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the consumption of 93% sulfuric acid is 1.55-1.80 kg per kg of concentrate.
